Perimenopause Steals the Joy from Your Life! Do Any of These Statements Sound Like You?

  • You dread having to try on new clothes because it’s just frickin’ depressing.

  • You avoid the front row in family pictures because you don’t want anyone to see how your body has changed.

  • You skip meals, avoid your favorite foods and resort to extremely restrictive diets, but still can’t lose any weight.

  • You question your own sanity because you’re annoyed and frustrated at things that never bothered you before.

You want to be engaged with life during perimenopause, but you find yourself avoiding social functions, dodging the camera and putting off shopping for clothes.

It’s a real struggle! It’s simply harder to lose weight during perimenopause than it was when you were younger. And, there is tons of conflicting information out there - advice, exercise plans, and don’t get me started on those restrictive diets, “just for perimenopausal women!” Most of it is misleading crap. Run away fast!

All of that chatter and confusion only adds to your frustration. You don’t know what to do. You just know that you’ve failed to shed the weight and you feel unhealthy, maybe even ashamed. But I’m calling BS on that.

I believe that no woman should have to be confused and ashamed when facing the changes caused by perimenopause. You should be able to eat the foods you want, lose weight and feel confident and engaged in your life. It’s bad enough that you’ve gotta deal with excess cortisol, hot flashes and mood swings, let’s not let it take our favorite foods and leave us feeling all alone too.

[Down 5lbs and 5 inches] I'm at the age where eating less & exercising more just isn't working anymore. This group provided the accountability I needed. It helped me connect with others while feeling better & more confident.

I am still practicing the skills I learned. Liz will help you learn how to fuel your body while realizing that life is going to happen and it's ok to take part. [6 months after]

I was able to find how the food I like to eat could be worked into my plan, and I never felt restricted. Robin - [Lost 18lbs in 12 weeks]

My weight never “fell off” after having babies. But it really didn’t after I had a baby at 37. After trying what I had before and not seeing success, I realized there could be more to it than just stubborn baby weight. Insert Liz and my knowledge of Peri. I followed her on Instagram for a couple months before I decided to join her program and I’m so glad I did! I finally saw movement on the scale after 2 years of nothing and I realized I was structuring my diet around the wrong elements. I focused too much on calories and not enough on protein. Past programs I’ve tried only offered accountability. Liz offers coaching, inspiration and accountability, plus it’s great to have a group to share your victories with (as well as struggles). Liz empowers women to be able to continue what they’ve learned after the program ends. At almost 40, I’ve finally learned how to fuel my body and eliminate night time cravings! Thank you, Liz!

My mission is to inspire and partner with my clients to find solutions to their weight loss or nutritional challenges during perimenopause.

Everything I do is built around my desire to make a profound difference in the health and wellness of others. I believe that when people are eating well and truly understand their relationship with food, every aspect of their life will change for the better.

My work is built on the foundational principle that people will take greater responsibility for themselves and their health if they have access to accurate information and professional guidance.  With support and accountability, women can begin to implement change and form new, healthy habits.

I work closely with women to shift their personal awareness and provide a fact-based way to navigate food-related issues. From this elevated place, comes the realization that eating healthy does not need to be complicated.

Today I work primarily with pre & perimenopausal women to help teach them how to lose excess weight through flexible dieting, portion control, and mindful eating practices. I want them to realize self-care is not selfish. I also teach them to model healthy behaviors for their families, because it’s true that when mama is happy, everyone is happy.

My background includes a credential as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN). I graduated from Viterbo University in La Crosse, WI with a Bachelor’s of Science in Community Medical Dietetics. I have acquired Commission on Dietetic Registration Certificates for training in their Childhood and Adolescent Weight Management Program as well as training in Adult Weight Management. I have also completed Wellcoach’s Health & Wellness Coach Training Program.

One of my pursuits is to uplift not only others but myself by striving to always learn, train and push beyond where I am today.

I cannot wait to meet you and join you on your journey!

- Love, Liz
